The only way to make peanut butter better is to add chocolate. And more peanut butter! Every now and then I transform my Peanut Butter Cookies into something extra special by adding one more ingredient. Peanut Butter Cups! There is just something so spectacular about biting into it and finding a warm and gooey peanut butter cup inside.
This is actually the most requested recipe I get asked for by my husband’s side of the family. If I ever make them when they are around, I don’t even have to worry about transferring them to a plate. Everyone comes and snitches two or three right off the hot cookie sheet!
Get your family to help by unwrapping the peanut butter cups. This is my husband’s job (because my kids can’t be trusted yet!). Now that I think about it, my husband can’t be trusted either. The recipe says you can make 30 cookies, but I somehow only end up with 24 peanut butter cups to use!
