Summer.
Only a few days left.
And some of you have already started school!
I’ll be honest. By the second day into summer, I was ready for it to be over! My boys were now trying to figure out the whole top dog gig and everyone was just butting heads. By day four I figured it out and just wore them out at the pool!
Here’s a run down of how our summer went…
We made a fun and simple summer to do list
(and there are still some unchecked boxes we have to get to!)
Watched the Lego Movie (more times than I want to admit) and
played with Lego till the sun went down.
Had a Penny Fair with some great and wonderful friends!
The boys made popcorn and Jolly Rancher Suckers to sell.
They were a big hit!
Enjoyed the few days it did rain.
Had a Monster Party with the crew complete with monster pets,
monster cupcakes and monster movies.
Wore ourselves out on the 4th of July!
But we sure had fun swimming for 4 hours, lunch with friends then celebrated
with a few fireworks of our own.
Rocked a full on cousin visit for a few days!
Completely took Schlitterbahn by storm with said cousins!
The highlight of the day is when my little Liam rode this ride…twice!
Mandatory only-wear-our-pajamas (or just a diaper) days!
Ate too much cold cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Snuck in a girls night out with some spectacular friends who
drove to spend the weekend with just me!
Love them!
Cooled off with homemade and bought sno cones.
One too many to count and I’m just fine with that!
Now that the end is near, I’m not ready for it to be over.
At all.
