Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cookies are made with a tender chewy peanut butter cookie, drizzled with chocolate and topped with crushed Butterfinger candy!
As a little girl, my all time favorite candy bar was a Butterfinger. There was something about that flaky peanut butter crunch that I couldn’t get enough of. My favorite candy has changed since then, but I have a true affinity for Butterfingers.
I created the best Peanut Butter Cookie recipe and wanted to try to bring it to another level by adding a chocolate drizzle and sprinkle it with crushed Butterfinger candy!
Let me just say.
This cookie is pretty incredible! It’s not that difficult to create and makes a huge impact. They are bigger than normal and would be perfect for any get together, party or gift to your favorite person with a sweet tooth!
They are super easy to make. Here’s how!
- You’ll use the Peanut Butter Cookie recipe and bake the cookies according to those directions.
- Let them cool completely before next steps or else the chocolate will melt when added.
- In a small bowl mix together the jar of your favorite hot fudge sauce with milk to thin it out a little bit. No need to heat up the sauce. You want it to be straight from the jar.
- Pour the fudge into a piping bag and snip off the end a little with scissors.
- Then drizzle the fudge sauce over the top of each cookie in a zig zag pattern.
- Sprinkle each with crushed Butterfinger Candy.
You could definitely add your favorite candy bar on top. There is something about the crunchy Butterfinger that pairs perfectly with the peanut butter cookie.
So many of you asked what cookie scoop I like to use. I found this one on Amazon that works really well!
