Halloween Cheese Ball Hand

Halloween Cheese Ball Hand Appetizer is easier than it looks. I will let you know. It’s even more gross in person! Made with simple sticks of string cheese, deli meats and a herby cream cheese mixture. It definitely makes an impact at any Halloween party you throw!

With all of the Halloween recipes I have, you’d never guess that it’s not my favorite holiday! It’s just such a blast to play around with in the kitchen. You might be familiar with my famous Feet Loaf recipe. It’s a tradition to make the week before trick or treating for hundreds of families. I’ve seen different versions of this type of appetizer, but I knew I had to make my own! I served this for a Witches Bunco group a few years back and this was one of the first things that was eaten! I think the secret is that everyone loved the cheese ball portion that actually is my Cheddar Ranch Cheeseball recipe!

How To Make Halloween Hand

  • Using a food processor, pulse together cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese and dip mix.
  • Don’t over mix or, just until blended. Set aside.
  • Trace your hand and arm onto a sheet of parchment paper using a pencil.
  • Cut it out and place drawn side down onto a large cutting board or platter. Set aside.
  • Cut each mozzarella stick the lenght of 4 fingers and a thumb.
  • Roll each up in a layer of prosciutto and place in it’s respective spot on the parchment paper.
  • Over the palm and arm portion of the parchment, spoon over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Using clean hands, form it into shape.
  • Layer slices of prosciutto and ham over the entire thing. Tuck in or cut off any meat that hangs over.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour up to 24 hours.
  • Serve with a variety of crackers along side.
  • You can also add a knife to take the whole thing over the top!

Ingredients

  • 5 Sticks Mozzarella String Cheese
  • 6 oz Prosciutto Di Parma
  • 6 oz Uncured Smoked Deli Ham Thinly Sliced
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 16 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese Or Extra Sharp, Shredded
  • 1 pkt Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix
