Halloween Dinner Ideas include all of my favorite Halloween recipes I’ve created over the years. Gather your own family around and create new holiday traditions or add a few of these to your get togethers with your friends and neighbors.
Fall time is my most favorite time to get in the kitchen and cook for my family and friends. Whether it’s my Caramel Apple Cake, Halloween Sugar Cookie Bars that please a crowd or Mummy Brownies that are just plain fun. Below you are going to find all of my favorite Halloween recipes that I hope you incorporate into your own holiday traditions!
Fun Halloween Party Food
I’ve thrown a few Halloween parties in my day! The food is always the favorite part. Whether you are planning a spooky family dinner or a big party for friends and neighbors. All of these recipes would make a perfect addition.
Easy Chili – My mom used to make Chili every Halloween Night. It kept us warm while we went out trick or treating and tastes amazing. It’s make with a few pantry ingredients and gives a good foundation for others to spice it up if they want.
Corn Bread – What is Chili without some cornbread served on the side? This has the perfect crumb and is pretty incredible with lots of butter and a bit of honey!
Halloween Appetizer Eyeballs – Made with three simple ingredients and would be great on their own, or a wonderful addition sprinkled throughout a charcuterie board.
Halloween Party Ideas
Graveyard Pudding Cups – Classic Halloween sweet treat! They can be created for a family dinner or even a school class party. Layers of creamy chocolate pudding and crushed chocolate cookies. I like to decorate mine with little Milano Cookie tombstones and use a few homemade Candy Googley Eyes.
Stuffed Pumpkin – This is actually a recipe that I tend to make more around Thanksgiving time. But I wish I could make it all year long! In case you don’t want to have such a spooky dinner this is a perfect fall alternative. It’s not as hard as it looks. Each small pumpkin is stuffed with a sausage and bread dressing that is dotted with just a little cheese and cream! It’s then baked until the pumpkin is tender and all the flavors meld together.
Spinach Almond Salad – By far this is my most favorite salad of all time. It’s one of those medleys that is super crunch and every forkful is the perfect bite! This is also a recipe you can adapt to add in the bits you like. Add in different nuts and you could even put a little fruit in it. I love the purple addition of the cabin and will ad a bit of color to your Halloween dinner.
More Halloween Dinner Ideas
Halloween Cheese Ball Hand – The creepiest thing you could possible make, but I’ll let you know. I made this for a party a few years ago and it was one of the first things to be eaten! Can be made a day or two in advanced and definitely creates a spooky impact!
Ghost Hand Pies – One of my favorite things to make this time of year. You really can fill them with anything, but I really like a good raspberry jam. They are glossed with a simple powdered sugar glaze and are actually really cute as well as tasty.
Cinnamon Pull Aparts – A recipe you truly can make all year long. Perfect for breakfast or brunch. I really like to include them in my Halloween Menu because there something about the cinnamon and flaky biscuits that works really well with all the other flavors.
Halloween Dinner Menu
Feet Loaf – I don’t know if I should feel proud or not, but this is one of the top recipes I am known for. It’s super popular and hundreds of families have made it their Halloween dinner tradition! I pinky promise that it tastes amazing and would be perfect served along side some mashed potoes and peas! Call them Ghost Poop and Goblin Boogers.
Caramel Apple Nachos – Created over 10 years ago, I originally made these for a women’s crafting Saturday for my church. They can easily be adapted for a crowd or just a few apples for your family. Everyone can top them how they like and so much easier than eating an actual caramel apple.
Monster Peanut Butter Cookie Bars – One of my favorite desserts I’ve made, but don’t make them enough! I love the green peanut butter cups. The peanut butter isn’t overwhelming, but it all works really well together.
