Jalapeno Ranch Dip Recipe

Jalapeno Ranch Dip is a simple dip recipe that is super creamy and herbs. It also has a spicy kick from the fresh jalapenos. My favorite sauce to dip tortilla chips in, drizzle over a salad or use as a topping for shredded pork tacos. It only takes a few minutes to make and tastes better the longer it chills in the refrigerator.

Three out of the five in my family are Mexican food lovers! It always my first choice when we go out to eat, but I make plenty at home to satisfy our cravings. My Easy Salsa tastes like what you get at restaurant. When we have friends over I really like to serve my Street Corn recipe. And you can’t go wrong with making my families most favorite Chicken Taquitos. You could even make these Barbaco Tacos from The Frozen Biscuit to serve this with!

Creamy Jalapeno Ranch Dip

Have you ever been introduced to something and it’s at that moment it becomes your new favorite thing?

The moment I had this Jalapeno Ranch Dip I was hooked!

I went to lunch with a friend at a Mexican restaurant I had been to a few times before. When they brought out the chips and salsa my friend asked the server to also being out their Jalapeno Ranch.

As I took my first bite I was surprised of how creamy and spicy it was. Then I thought, how come I had never had this before?! I had been to this restaurant before, but never had been introduced to this before.

Chuy’s Copycat Recipe

The restaurant I’m talking about is Chuy’s Tex Mex. Maybe you have one local to you, but they are scattered all around Texas.

It’s one of those places where everything is delicious! Especially when this creamy Jalapeno Ranch Dip is involved! I’ve learned just to ask for it right when we are seated.

It’s also the place we tend to go to for many girls night out!

I knew from that first time I tried it I had to try to recreate it at home. It had to be made from simple ingredients and super easy to make. Guess what? It is!

How To Make Jalapeno Ranch Dip

  • In a food processor combine sour cream, mayonnaise, milk and green enchilada sauce until smooth.
  • Remove stem from jalapeno and cut lengthwise down the center.  If you don’t want your dip to be super spicy, remove the seeds and membrane with a knife.
  • Remove stems from cilantro leaves.
  • Add in ranch mix, cut jalapeno, cilantro and garlic to the food processor and pulse until well combined.
  • Pour into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
