Baking is one of my favorite past times. Especially around the holidays. There are some years that I don’t have the extra time. I used to also love to give my boy’s teacher’s gifts, but I also know that most schools and teachers shy away from homemade treats.
Gift Idea
The moment I saw the redesign of one of our favorite games from Grandpa Becks Games, I knew I wanted it to be our teacher and neighbor gift for Christmas. It still brings in the sweet element, but safe for everyone!
It’s perfect for the gamer, teacher, special helper, stocking stuffer, neighbor and baker.
Neighbor and Teacher Christmas Gift
All you’ll need:
- The below tag. Right click or download and save image then print off as many as you need.
- Grandpa Beck’s Cover Your Cookies game. It plays very similar to Cover your Assets if you are familiar with the popular game.
- Ribbon. I chose green, but any of the color options would be fun.
- Twine. I just found it helpful to attatch this to the ribbon because the ribbon is too think to run it through the hole.
- Cellophane bags
Instructions:
- Print off tags.
- Cut around using a paper trimmer or scissors.
- Punch a hole at the top.
- Place game box in a cellophane bag.
- Tie closed with ribbon and attatch tag.
You can watch how I assembled them HERE.
This can be gifted all on it’s own, but if you want to go over the top you can always make any of these Christmas treats to share with it as well!
