My mom very rarely did these two things. Baked. And made things from scratch. With the exception of these Banana Muffins. The chocolate chips are my addition to this recipe, but it’s the secret the secret ingredient that makes these so soft and fluffy. “I really wish these muffins were perfectly shaped.” I have food friends who make the most gorgeous muffins. They have the best domes and are ultra bakery ready. All three of my boys beg for these most Saturday mornings. All three of them are teenagers so one little order from our fav chicken place doesn’t hold them for long. People hated me when I first posted this recipe last summer. They were a little upset by the cost of the beef. I get it. I do. But what they didn’t realize is that all of this fed my family of 5, TWICE! 3 out of the 5 of us are teenage boys, too, so that’s saying something.
